Spy shots have revealed Porsche testing a saloon that’s smaller than the current Panamera. Earlier, reports had covered this saloon, called the Pajun, to be Porsche’s entry-level saloon.
However, it has been sometime since this car has been spotted. And its return could mark Porsche’s revitalised interest to get going on this saloon once again. At first glance it’s inevitable to dismiss that this testing mule looks like it’s built around a shorter wheelbase version of the Panamera. Owing to the lavish dimensions of the Panamera, this model does seem to feel tightly knit together. Especially around the rear portion, where the shut lines look like Porsche engineers where struggling to make space for the door. But this is expected on a test car and so are the rivets seen on the fender to hold the camouflage. Some sources also admit that the rear tail lamp styling is pulled off the Porsche 911.
You would agree that this car is quite early in its design stage and there’s a lot more needed in the development phase. Expect more sightings of this Porsche in the days to come.
