Nissan India has released yet another teaser of the X-Trail ahead of its launch which is expected to take place in the coming weeks. The updated three-row SUV was showcased in India for the first time back in November 2022.
As per the new teaser video, the 2024 X-Trail will come equipped with features including a panoramic sunroof, large freestanding touchscreen infotainment system, dual-zone climate control, and a fully digital coloured instrument cluster. Further, it will boast of an ADAS suite, wireless mobile charger, electric parking brake with auto-hold function, drive modes, and cup holders in the centre console.
Set to arrive in the country via the CBU route, the new X-Trail will be powered by a 1.5-litre, turbo-petrol engine paired with a CVT gearbox. It remains to be seen if Nissan will offer the standard petrol version or the one with a hybrid unit. Once launched, the X-Trail will rival the BYD Atto 3, MG Cloud EV, Volkswagen Tiguan, and the Jeep Compass.
