After launching the smashing new C63 AMG in sedan form, Mercedes is now preparing to launch the sportier Coupe model. According to a few reports, the German car maker will launch the C63 AMG Coupe early next year.
As expected, the Coupe version will get the sedan-derived 4-litre V8 bi turbo engine that develops 470bhp in standard guise. Mercedes will also sell the more powerful S version with around 503bhp and 700Nm of torque on tap.
Not many details are out yet although one can expect the C63 AMG Coupe to carry a premium of around Rs 80,000 over the C63 AMG sedan. The former’s direct rival will come in the form of the BMW M4 which is essentially a two-door version of the latest-generation M3.
