The new Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 will be launched for the Indian market today. It gets revised styling externally and internally, as well as a first-in-segment AMT gearbox. In the run up to the launch, we have previewed the car as well compared the facelifted Alto K10 to its closest rivals-the Datsun GO and the Hyundai Eon.

The launch has begun and now CV Raman, excutive officer engineering, is telling us about the new Maruti Suzuki Alto K10.
An AV exhorting youngsters to 'Chase Life' was just shown. The new Alto K10’s new motto is ‘Chase life’.
Using what the company calls a chase cube, they are now describing the exterior and interior design of the new Alto K10.
The AV is now describing the various new interiors features that the Alto K10 has been given.
The sensible use of space and design make the drive comfortable. The new Alto K10 gets dual cup holders in the front, front power windows located on the floor near the handbrake and also the adjustable OVRMs controlled from the inside.
Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 comes with 24.07kmpl fuel efficiency.
The new Alto K10 is powered by the 1.0-litre K-Next Engine that produces 67bhp and 90Nm. Power is sent to the front wheels via a five-speed manual or AMT which the company calls Auto Gear Shift.

The Auto Gear Shift comes for Rs 3.80 lakh and the CNG (MT) comes for Rs 3.81 lakh.

Lxi- Rs 3.21 lakh
Lxi CNG- Rs 3.81 lakh
Vxi – Rs 3.37 lakh
Vxi (o) - Rs 3.56 lakh
