Maruti Suzuki has officially announced the prices of the new Dzire in India, starting at Rs. 6.79 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards. The updated sub-four-metre sedan, which was revealed last week, recently scored top honours at the Global NCAP crash test.
The fourth-gen Dzire is powered by a new 1.2-litre Z-Series petrol engine paired with five-speed manual and AMT units. The power output is rated at 80bhp and 112Nm. Also up for offer is a CNG version, tuned to develop 68bhp and 102Nm. We have driven the new Dzire and our review will be live at 10:30 AM on 12 November.
On the design front, the new Dzire gets a fresh grille with horizontal slats, LED headlamps, new front and rear bumpers, dual-tone alloy wheels, triangular inserts for the LED taillights, and a shark-fin antenna.
Inside, the 2024 Dzire will come equipped with a segment-first electric sunroof. Elsewhere, it will get a new dual-tone interior theme, nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system, flat-bottom steering wheel, 360-degree camera, cruise control, rear AC vents, and automatic climate control.
