Earlier this month, Maruti Suzuki launched the fourth-gen Dzire in India, with introductory prices starting at Rs. 6.79 lakh (ex-showroom). The model added a feather in its cap by scoring a five-star rating in the Global NCAP crash test.
Now, according to a recent video shared on the web, the base LXi variant of the 2024 Dzire has begun arriving at local dealerships. The updated sub-four-metre sedan is offered in four variants – LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+.
As seen in the images here, the entry-level version of the new Dzire gets projector headlamps, new grille with horizontal slats, fresh front and rear bumpers, 14-inch steel wheels, and new LED taillights. Inside, the car gets six airbags, ESP, HHC, remote keyless entry, adjustable front headrests, and tilt-adjustable steering.
Under the hood, the new-gen Maruti Dzire gets a 1.2-litre Z Series petrol engine paired with five-speed manual and AMT units. There is also a CNG version on sale with a claimed mileage of up to 33.73 km/kg. We have driven the new Dzire and our review is now live on the website.
