The new Mahindra TUV300 has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 8.38 lakhs (ex-showroom, Mumbai). The new TUV300 debuts in India with a fresh set of cosmetic and feature upgrades over its predecessor. The updated model is available in T4+, T6+, T8 and T10 variants, and for the first time, an optional T10 (O) variant.
What’s good about it?
The new TUV300 is a visual charmer. The compact SUV now gets a piano black front grille, new headlamp design with DRLs, X-shaped metallic grey spare wheel cover, side cladding and chin plate and clear lens tail lamps. Moreover, the vehicle gets the Pininfarina designed interior with silver accents for a premium appeal. In terms of safety, the new model gets dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, CBC and auto door lock as standard.
What’s not so good?
The new TUV300 misses out on an AMT option this time. The 100bhp diesel engine is mated to a five-speed manual transmission.
Best variant to buy?
The T8 variant of the TUV300 which is priced at Rs 9.62 lakhs (ex-showroom, Mumbai) is a good deal as the trim offers an adequate set of features. As for customers who are looking for a trim with dual tone option, reverse parking camera and touchscreen infotainment system the T10 is a good choice.
