The new Kia Carnival has been spotted in Malaysia and this confirms Kia’s plans to bring back this MPV to the Malaysian market.
External proportions of the latest Carnival disclose the extra 40mm in length that this generation model attains over the previous version. Thanks to the overall upsize in dimensions, the Carnival offers more front shoulder room and increased leg room in all the rows. The Mammoth size of this MPV is greeted by the 19-inch alloy wheels that adequately balances the visual stance.
Labelled the Sedona in other markets, the car in the picture is a left-hand drive and speculations put this as an import from Korea for testing purposes. This huge MPV is available with the option of seven, eight and eleven seats in markets abroad and can also be bought with the choice of two motors. These mills include a 2.2-litre CRDi that makes 202bhp and 441Nm of torque, and a 3.3-litre naturally aspirated GDI V6 which produces 280bhp and 336Nm. Transmission duties on both motors are fulfilled by a six-speed automatic gearbox.
