- Kia will also launch anniversary editions during the festive season
- Fourth-gen Carnival was showcased in India at the 2023 Auto Expo
Kia India has officially sent out an invite for two launches scheduled to take place on 3 October, 2024. These two launches will be none other than the new Carnival and the EV9 flagship electric car. We expect the new anniversary editions of select models such as the Sonet, Seltos, and the Carens to arrive around the festive season too.
The new-gen Carnival will build on the success of the previous-gen model and is the same iteration that was showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo in Delhi. Apart from a completely new exterior design with signature design cues of the Kia family, the MPV is likely to boast dual 12.3-inch screens, ADAS suite, 14.6-inch screens for the second-row occupants, digital IRVM, multi-zone climate control, and eight airbags.
The Kia EV9 SUV, which will be the second EV from the brand for the Indian market, will drive into the country via the CBU route. The three-row model could be offered in both, 2WD and 4WD versions, with a range of up to 500km on a single full charge. Notable features of the car could include a Level 2 ADAS suite, powered seats for the second row, connected car technology, powered tailgate, dual digital displays, and multi-zone climate control.
