The new Jeep Wrangler has been launched in India at a price of Rs 63.94 lakhs and it is available in a single petrol variant. The American 4x4 SUV is available with a removable roof and door and a fold-down windshield configuration. The fourth-generation model does not get striking differences over its predecessor, yet manages to look modern and classy at the same time.
What’s good about it?
The new Jeep Wrangler is not just lighter but is also bigger, wider and taller than its predecessor. In terms of dimensions, it is longer by 130mm, 17mm wider and taller by 9mm. The wheelbase has now increased by 61mm. The new Wrangler has a steeper approach angle of 41.8 degrees, break-over angle of 21 degrees and a departure angle of 36.1 degrees with an increased ground clearance of 29mm. The new body structure of high strength steel and aluminium rests on a five-link suspension system with heavy-duty gas shock absorbers.
