- Is the first concept under the brand’s new resurrected identity
- First production four-door version to be revealed in late 2025
Jaguar recently underwent a brand resurrection with a new identity and ideology. Following that, the first-ever concept under this new direction is here, and it is called Type 00. Unveiled recently at the Miami Art Week in South Florida, the new design vision concept will lead the brand forward with a production-spec four-door GT hitting the global markets in late 2025.
Design is the most talked-about factor of the new Jaguar Type 00, which has a signature long bonnet, fastback profile with sloping roofline, 23-inch patterned alloy wheels, flush body panels, uninterrupted silhouette, glassless rear tailgate, and sculpted panoramic roof. As for the colours, the Type 00 was revealed in two extravagant paint schemes – Miami Pink and London Blue.
On the other hand, the interior is understated and minimal at best with hand-finished brass lines across the entire cabin. Some of the interior highlights include butterfly doors, floating centre console which the brand calls ‘Spine’, deployable dual screens on the dashboard, stitch-less wool blend seat upholstery, clever storage spaces, and hidden ambient lighting.
The brand has disclosed the expected driving range and estimated charging speed. The production-spec version will boast a driving range of up to 770km (WLTP cycle). Furthermore, with the support for rapid charging, the EV can get up to 321km of range in just 15 minutes.
