The 2014 variant of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class is expected to be unveiled on December 16, 2013. It will make its public debut later at the Detroit Motor Show next year. Before this unveiling, a picture of the car has been posted on the internet.
This photograph hosted on imageshack seems to be one from Mercedes-Benz’s brochure. The right-front three-quarter profile of the car in the image gives us a glimpse of the smaller sibling of the S-Class. It's in silver, one amongst the various colours it is speculated to be available in when launched. We have also seen the car testing before.
The new car is expected to boast of some of the technological systems currently available in the Mercedes-Benz S-Class vehicles. It will feature an Airmatic suspension and an adjustable radiator shutter called Airpanel.
Engine specifications of this C-Class are not yet available but it is supposedly powered by diesel as well as petrol engines. The C220 BlueTEC which will be powered by the diesel engine is expected to produce 170bhp of power. The C180 and C200 from the petrol versions will produce 156bhp and 184bhp respectively.
We expect this variant of the C-Class to be launched in India by the end of 2014, after it is first launched in Europe and America at the start of next year. We will bring you more information about the car with details expected to be released this Monday.
