-Mid-life update
-No mechanical changes expected
The Maruti Suzuki Baleno facelift has been spied once again but this time the image has revealed more details of the mid-life update for the hatchback. As expected, the changes are minor but they do add a refresh to the overall look of the car.
The update for the Baleno is that the front bumper has been changed completely to give Baleno a sporty(er) appearance. Other than that nothing appears to have changed and the Baleno still retains its larger than life appearance.
No mechanical changes are expected and this means the 1.3-litre diesel, 1.2-litre petrol and 1.0-litre Boosterjet in the RS version. All engines get a five-speed manual but the 1.2-litre petrol can also be had with a CVT.Â
It’s expected to be launched in the first quarter of this year and will continue to take on the likes of the Honda Jazz, Hyundai Elite i20, Volkswagen Polo as well the various compact sedans and SUVs.
