Hyundai India has unveiled the third generation Grand i10 Nios. The model, which will co-exist with the regular Grand i10, is scheduled to be launched in the country later this month. Bookings for the Grand i10 Nios are being accepted from today for a token amount of Rs 11,000.
The interiors of the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios are furnished in a dual-tone theme of beige and black. Feature highlights on the model include automatic climate control, steering mounted controls, large touchscreen infotainment system, wireless charging, start-stop button, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, digital-analogue instrument cluster, new air-conditioning vents and a manually adjustable IRVM. Standard safety features will include dual airbags, ABS with EBD, speed alert system and seat belt reminder.
Hyundai has not revealed the engine specifications of the Grand i10 Nios although the model is expected to be powered by BS-VI compliant versions of the 1.2-litre petrol and 1.2-litre diesel engines. Transmission options could include a five-speed manual transmission and an AMT unit. The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios will be launched in India on 20 August. Once launched, the model will rival against the likes of the Ford Figo and the Maruti Suzuki Swift.
