The new Hyundai Creta facelift launch is around the corner and as usual, the spec-list has found its way on the internet. All the features of the already-loaded Hyundai Creta have been retained and of course, there are a few additions to make the already hot-selling product more lucrative.
The Creta will continue to be offered with the 1.6-litre petrol, 1.4-litre diesel and the 1.6-litre diesel engines with automatic options only for the 1.6-litre mills. While the petrol gets the base E trim, the diesels are offered with the E+, S, SX, SX (dual tone) and SX (O) trims. There are no petrol options in the S trim while the petrol manual is offered only in the SX+ trim. The 1.4 diesel manual is offered in the E+ and S while the diesel manual is offered in all the higher trims and the diesel automatic is offered in the S and SX trims only.
Apart from the cosmetic changes on the outside, the interior will get a subtle makeover. The Black and beige interior should continue and it will get a few touches from the Verna. For example, the touchscreen display will be taken from the sedan to replace this ageing unit along with the new set of dials. The top-spec trims will gets leather upholstery, electric sunroof, electric driver seat, smart key wrist band and a wireless charging unit.
It will also have six airbags, stability program for the automatics, parking sensors with camera and passive cornering lamps. Also, these higher spec cars will run on 17 inch diamond-cut alloy wheels besides sporting a black roof combination for the orange and white colours.
Being a mid-life update, we do not expect the prices of the new Creta to change much and you can expect the base petrol variant to be launched at about Rs. 9.3 lakhs with the top-spec diesel going up to Rs 15 lakhs, ex-showroom, Delhi.
