Honda Cars India has revealed the first design sketch of the new generation Amaze sedan. Expected to be launched by December 2024, the new Amaze will sport fresh exterior design, a revamped interior, and new features.
The word on the street is that the Amaze will be underpinned by the modified platform of the City. It will continue to be a sub-four-metre sedan with redesigned front and rear profiles, new head and tail lamps along with new design for the alloy wheels. Inside, the cabin is expected to draw inspirations from the new City with a larger touchscreen infotainment system and new interior theme.
Besides this, the Amaze will continue to be offered as a petrol-only sedan. The existing 1.2-litre petrol mill produces 89bhp and 110Nm of torque and is available with a five-speed manual and a CVT. Upon launch, it will continue its rivalry with the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Aura, and Tata Tigor.
