- To be launched in India in 2025
- Could be called Bigster on launch
Renault India is working on bringing the recently revealed Dacia Duster to India in the coming year. Ahead of its India debut, the new-gen Duster was spied on international soil in its three-row form, which could be called Bigster upon its launch.
As seen in the spy image, the three-row Renault Duster will flaunt its chunky and muscular styling. The silhouette of the SUV is also visible with functional roof-rails, extended roof spoiler, shark-fin antenna, and squared-off wheel arches.
Also visible are the pillar-mounted rear door handles, inverted C-shaped LED taillights, and multi-spoke blacked-out alloy wheels.
On a closer look, the dashboard layout of the SUV is partly visible revealing details like a four-spoke steering wheel with controls, tilted floating infotainment screen, and an electrically adjustable driver seat. We also expect more features such as an auto-dimming IRVM, digital instrument cluster, dual-zone climate control, wireless charger, 360-degree camera, and ADAS suite.
Mechanically, the India-spec Duster available in both five- and seven-seater guises, will likely be equipped with a 1.6-litre petrol-hybrid and a 1.2-litre petrol-hybrid engine. As for the transmission options, the automaker will bundle both, a manual and an automatic gearbox with the upcoming Duster SUV.
