- Could be unveiled in 2025
- India launch likely towards the end of next year
Kia has commenced public road tests of the new-gen Seltos on global soil. New spy shots shared on the web reveal a heavily camouflaged test car on the streets of South Korea. The second-generation model is expected to arrive on Indian shores in the second half of 2025.
As per the spy shots, the next-gen Seltos will feature a completely new design, although it seems to retain the silhouette and size of the outgoing car. Visible elements include new squared headlamps with a curved element on one side, new LED fog lights, fresh grille, new dual-tone alloy wheels and ORVMs, fresh set of LED taillights, high-mounted stop lamp, and a rear bumper-mounted number plate recess.
The interior of the 2025 Kia Seltos is not visible in the spy shots, hence it remains unknown what changes the brand will make to its Grand Vitara- and Creta-rival. Under the hood, it is likely to feature turbo-petrol and diesel engines as well as a hybrid powertrain. Apart from the Seltos, Kia is set to introduce multiple fresh offerings next year, including the Syros, Carens facelift, and the EV derivative of the Carens.
