Kia India has officially announced the prices of the new-gen Carnival MPV. The premium people mover has made its comeback in India and is available at a starting ex-showroom price of Rs. 63.90 lakh. Customers can book the model in two guises – Limousine and Limousine Plus, with deliveries commencing in the coming months.
Launched alongside the Kia EV9, the Carnival MPV is loaded with features to the brim, To name some, the Carnival is equipped with a dual single-pane electric sunroof, twin 12.3-inch displays for the infotainment and the instrument panel, powered and ventilated front seats, powered rear doors, 360-degree surround camera with blind spot monitor, three-zone climate control, 12-speaker premium music system, and a Level 2 ADAS suite.
The exterior highlights of the new Carnival include a fresh fascia with a new grille, vertically stacked LED headlamps, inverted L-shaped LED DRLs, contrast-coloured skid plates, LED light bar on the tailgate, new alloy wheels, fresh roof rails, and a shark fin antenna.
Mechanically, the new Kia Carnival draw power from the same 2.2-litre diesel engine mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox. This motor is tuned to generate 197bhp and 440Nm of peak torque while sending the power to the rear wheels. Notably, the automaker has already registered over 2,796 bookings of the Carnival MPV in the country.
