Update: Honda has teased the interior of the new Amaze, details of which are live on our website.
-Prices to be revealed on 4 December
-Will rival the new Maruti Dzire and more
Earlier this week, Honda Cars India released the first teaser of the next-generation Amaze. We can now confirm that the updated iteration of the carmaker’s sub-four-metre sedan will be launched in India on 4 December, 2024.
As per the previous teaser image, the 2024 Amaze will draw heavy inspiration from the current version of the City. In terms of cosmetic updates, it is expected to get all-LED headlamps, single slat grille, sharp front and rear bumpers, and a fresh set of alloy wheels. The posterior is likely to benefit from a new set of LED taillights as well.
Inside, the new Amaze is likely to receive updates in the form of a new interior theme, larger touchscreen infotainment system, and a few more updates borrowed from its most popular product, the City.
The technical specifications of the Honda Amaze in its new avatar will remain unchanged. It will continue to source power from a 1.2-litre petrol engine producing 89bhp and 110Nm of torque, paired with five-speed manual and CVT transmissions. Once launched, the new Amaze will rival the Tata Tigor, Hyundai Aura, and the new Maruti Dzire.
