Honda Cars India has revealed a new set of sketch images of its upcoming third-gen Amaze sedan. The new teasers showcased the exterior and interior of the new Maruti Dzire rival and revealed some important information regarding the interior and features of the updated Amaze.
As seen in the picture, the new Amaze will get a completely updated cabin with modern looks and features. The dual-tone dashboard gets a free-standing infotainment screen with touch capacitive buttons on the right, rectangular AC vents, a mesh-type pattern on the dashboard, and an HVAC panel with a small screen. Then there’s a new three-spoke steering wheel with controls, semi-digital instrument panel, and beige seat upholstery.
As for the features, the new Honda Amaze will get automatic climate control, cruise control, Type C charging ports, wireless charger, cup holders in the centre console, 12V power outlet, and an ADAS suite.
Mechanically, we expect the Honda Amaze to continue with the same 1.2-litre NA petrol engine mated to a five-speed manual and a CVT gearbox. Upon its launch, the new-gen Honda Amaze will compete against the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Aura, and the Tata Tigor in the compact sedan segment.
