-To be launched on 11 November
-To be powered by the 1.2-litre Z-Series engine
The next-gen version of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire is just around the corner. With the launch date set for 11 November, the updated sedan is generating significant hype, even without any official teasers, thanks to leaks and spy shots. After the clear images of the red-coloured Dzire, the one finished in blue has made it to the internet.
As seen in the pictures, the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire will feature a blue colour very similar to Nexa Blue. However, since this is a Maruti Suzuki Arena product, the automaker is likely to give this colour a different name.
On the exterior, the Dzire will showcase a completely overhauled front fascia, featuring an upright grille, a chrome slat connecting the headlamp clusters, sleeker headlights with DRLs, and redesigned fog lamp housing.
On the sides, the most notable change will be the new patterned alloy wheels and a camera mounted beneath the ORVMs for the 360-degree surround view function. At the rear, the taillights will sport a new design with Y-shaped LEDs.
Mechanically, the new Dzire will come equipped with a 1.2-litre Z-Series petrol engine with three cylinders. This motor will be paired with a five-speed manual transmission and an AMT gearbox. In the near future, similar to the Swift, Maruti Suzuki may also introduce a CNG version of the new Dzire.
