The Chevrolet Spark or the Beat, as it is called in India, has been on sale for a while, and the car did well in the small car segment especially with the three-cylinder oil burner. Although it doesn’t look dated, GM has been working on an all-new Beat, which will be introduced next year.
This time around it was spotted testing under cold weather in Northern Europe. The camouflaged car reveals it has lost the hidden rear door handle which was one of the design highlights of the Beat. The pictures clearly reveal the car gets conventional door handles placed on the door. It is definitely not bad news but yes, we did like the stylish handlebar-free rear doors. There hasn’t been much news about the next-generation Beat but GM will continue building it in Korea.
At the recently concluded Auto Expo GM showed us the facelifted Beat. Once the car is shown worldwide, we can expect the car to reach our shores within a few months.
