Chevrolet is all ready to introduce the new second-generation Aveo - a five-door hatchback. The new Aveo has a completely redesigned exterior and cabin, plus a newly developed chassis and body structure, as well as a range of upgraded fuel-efficient, low-emission engines.
The new Avero comes with a 1.4-litre and 1.2-litre petrol engines that deliver 100bhp and 86bhp of power respectively. The 1.3-litre VCDi engine is also available with the Aveo that produces 75bhp and 95bhp of power, depending on the geometry of the turbocharger. The petrol engines feature dual-overhead camshafts and variable valve timing; the cast-iron cylinder block is based on a hollow frame structure. The Aveo is the first Chevrolet small car with a six-speed automatic transmission and is available with the 100bhp 1.4-litre petrol model.
