With the festive season coming to an end, the sudden surge of new arrivals and offerings will witness a sharp decline over the next two months. That said, there are a few new launches and unveils scheduled for this month. Let us take a closer look at what November 2024 has to offer.
Skoda Kylaq
The Kylaq will be the most affordable Skoda in the Indian market and will enter the super competitive sub-four-metre SUV segment with an unveiling scheduled to take place on 6 November. To make use of the taxation benefits, it will be offered only with a 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine paired with six-speed manual and automatic transmissions. It will feature split headlamps, new LED taillights, fresh set of blacked-out alloy wheels, large touchscreen unit, digital cockpit, ventilated front seats, automatic climate control, and more.
New Maruti Dzire
Short on the heels of introducing the new Swift earlier this year, the new Dzire will debut in its fourth generation on 11 November. On the features front, it will be equipped with a segment-first electric sunroof, LED headlamps, triangular inserts for the LED taillights, new machined alloy wheels, and a blind-spot monitor. It will also get a new 1.2-litre Z Series petrol engine producing 80bhp and 112Nm.
Mercedes AMG C63 S E Performance
The AMG C63 S E Performance will be the 14th and last launch from the brand for the current calendar year and will take place on 12 November. This performance version of the C-Class, in its current avatar, drops the V8 for a four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with a mild-hybrid motor. Dubbed the world’s most powerful four-pot engine, it generates 670bhp and 1,020Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via the brand’s 4Matic all-wheel drive system. The electric motor also feeds the turbo here, thus taking out any form of turbo lag.
Mahindra XUV.e8
The Mahindra XUV700-based EV has been in the pipeline for a while, and we finally have a reveal timeline for the same. Set to arrive on 26 November, the XUV.e8 will differentiate itself from its ICE sibling with the help of a refreshed fascia, new triangular LED headlamps, LED light bars at the front and rear, new two-spoke steering wheel, and a three-screen setup on the inside. Technical details remain scarce apart from the expectation of an 80kWh battery pack paired with a single electric motor.
Maruti eVX
Maruti’s first-ever electric offering is likely to be showcased on 4 November, 2024. To be produced at Suzuki’s production facility in Gujarat, it will also be exported to multiple regions all around the globe. The prices of the eVX are then expected to be announced during the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo, formerly known as the Auto Expo. The Creta EV-rival could be powered by a 60kWh battery pack and an electric motor with a claimed range of 550km on a single full charge.
