It is one of the most well- known Audi cars in India and now there is a new one which will be launched later this year. Yes, it’s the new A4 and it has been showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo. 

This new A4 is the fifth generation for the automaker’s mid-level sedan and will be offered with both petrol and diesel engines.

It is an evolutionary design but looks totally new thanks to the larger front grille, LED lamps and flared wheel arches that lend strength to overall package.

The interior of the new A4 now gets cleaner and simpler layout as compared to the asymmetrical design of the outgoing model.

The car on display was a 3.0-litre TDI Quattro. But when launched Audi will offer the 1.8-litre petrol and 2.0-litre diesel in the FWD specifications and with a seven-speed DSG.

We can expect that once Audi has launched the A4 it will bring along the high performance S4 variant a few months later.
The Audi A4 competes with the BMW 3 Series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class and Jaguar XF which have all got updates over the last year or so.
