Audi India plans to sell a thousand cars by the end of the year, and this is the tool they hope will help them achieve that target. Ladies and gentlemen, meet the new A4 that went on sale today for Rs. 29 lakh, ex-showroom Mumbai, excluding taxes and duties.
The A4 will have two engine options; a 143bhp 2.0-litre TDI multitronic and the 265bhp 3.2-litre FSI tiptronic Quattro. Audi claims the 4.7-metre length helps it achieve the largest legroom compared to its direct competitors, and contributes towards the 480-litre boot. The impressive options list has the Multi-Media Interface (MMI), an optical parking system with rear-view camera and a Bang & Olufsen sound system. Audi will import the car initially, and by end of the year assemble it from completely knocked down units.
