- Design isn’t going to be a radical change
- Will get the updated D8 platform
The final teaser for the 2019 Range Rover Evoque is out before the car gets officially unveiled tonight. Now it might be a blurred teaser but once can see the silhouette and fathom that the overall design will not be a radical departure from the previous model.Â
Expect a bunch of new features in the baby Rangie like all-digital instrument cluster, along with the latest version of JLR's adaptive cruise control system with stop & go, and lane-keeping technology enabling semi-autonomous highway driving.
Underpinnings should consist of an updated D8 platform which also work in the Discovery Sport and the Jaguar F-Pace. Engines will mostly include a 4-cylinder, turbo-petrol and the standard diesels. A plug-in hybrid could join the ranks as well. Watch this space for the complete reveal soon.
