New 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga bookings open

- Bookings have started at Rs. 11,000

- Launch on 21st November, 2018

Maruti Suzuki have started taking bookings for the soon-to-be launched next-gen Ertiga across the country. The new Ertiga will get the new K15 1.5-litre petrol engine that also powers the Ciaz and makes 105bhp and 138Nm torque. The petrol model will also get the SHVS mild hybrid technology which should make the Ertiga a better people hauler.

As for the diesel, Maruti will continue with the tried and tested 1.3-litre DDiS 200 diesel which makes 90bhp and 200Nm of torque till their in-house 1.5-litre diesel engine debuts. The car will also boast the new-gen Heartect platform which is lighter and stronger. The new platform has also made the car wider and longer than before thereby making it more spacious.

The new Ertiga will be available in 4 petrol variants which will include AT options in the VXi and ZXi trims while there will be 4 diesel variants. Expect Maruti Suzuki to introduce the diesel AMT soon too. As for colours, the new Ertiga will be available in five colours, Pearl Metallic Auburn Red, Metallic Magma Grey, Pearl Metallic Oxford Blue, Pearl Arctic White and Metallic Silky Silver.
