Mystery Porsche 911 test mule spied without camouflage

What we have here is a previously unseen version of the 992 generation Porsche 911 undergoing some tests. Spotted in Southern Germany, this mystery variant raises plenty of questions with regards to its appearance. 

A bunch of the features added to the car can be ordered through the Porsche’s options list, like the Sport Design Kit which comes with the higher-mounted rear number plate and the modified front skirt. The golden rims and coloured safety belts are also available, however, there are plenty of questionable bits on this prototype. 

Not available yet is the massive rear spoiler including a modified third brake light and the type of exhaust pipes this green 911 features. It is probable that these design bits will become additional features to further individualize the 911 through the custom options. With a completely different exhaust system in combination with the standard brakes, it seems more likely, however, we are here looking at yet another future variant of the car. Only time will tell what exactly this variant will be.
