Land Rover has started offering the new 2.0-litre Ingenium petrol engine on the entry-level SUVs, the Discovery Sport and the Range Rover Evoque in India. To be offered on the SE and HSE trims in both the SUVs, the new turbocharged petrol engine offers higher performance as well as better efficiency than the its predecessor.
The MY2018 update also includes Wi-Fi Hotspot and InControl-Pro services which allow as much as 8 people to access the internet. Apart from these changes, both the Discovery Sport and the Evoque continue to remain unchanged, continuing to be the real off-road capable luxury SUVs that they are.
Both these SUVs already get the Ingenium series of diesel engines and are assembled in India starting at 42.3 lakhs ex-showroom for the Discovery Sport and Rs 44.44 lakhs for the Range Rover Evoque.
