After a fairly decent Friday practice session for Munjal Savla, we pick the story of the this race from his point of view. And here it goes.DAY 2 - SATURDAY
There was one practice session and a qualifying session scheduled for the day. It had rained early in the morning and hence we had a damp track in the morning, had a decent practice run.
Qualifying was under over-cast conditions. I went out was was doing pretty good timings. Was faster than my personal best. Actually, the timings were like those of round 4's top three positions. So, entered the pits at the end of qualifying feeling really up. BUT, the overall pace had picked up due to the much cooler track and i was sitting in 10th position.
Went through the data and realized that i could actually go much faster if only i was slightly more aggressive on the braking (that was the only place i was loosing time to the leaders). The aim was to finish around 6-8th in the first race, that would give me a top 3 starting spot for Race 2.
