More pictures of the Jaguar’s new sports car, the F-type, have been revealed just a day before its debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. This is the second leak, as just a few days back we saw an image of three convertible F-types was released. The fresh set of images show us the interiors and the rear of the car for the first time.
The cabin of the F-Type sports heavily designed custom seats with a leather dashboard, a steering wheel wrapped in Alacantra and what appears to be pop-up aircon vents. While the newer generation of Jaguar cars has all been fitted with a -pop-up from dash board when you switch on the car-rotary gear selector, the F-Type seems to have a manual stick. Also visible in the pictures is the British automaker’s standard infotainment system.
At the back there is tapered rear-end harking back to days of legendary E-type. The pictures also reveal there are two types of exhaust designs; a quad pipe setup and a dual pipe finish in the centre. This is most likely the difference between the supercharged V6 and the V8 engines.
We will bring you more details of the car from Paris Motor Show when it is officially unveiled to the public on September 28. The new vehicle is likely to go on sale in mid-2013 and will cost GBP 55,000 (Rs 47,60,000). We expect that Jaguar will bring the car to India at the end of 2013 in CBU form where it will slot in below theXKR.
