India’s premier motor show, the biennial Auto Expo, will be held in Greater Noida, Delhi from February 5 to 9 next year. The ticket sales for the event have commenced and passes for the public days can be bought online through web portals – autoexpo-themotorshow.in or bookmyshow.com.
The Auto Expo will be spread across large air-conditioned halls measuring close to 68,000sqm, up from 62,000sqm in 2014. About six lakh visitors are expected to attend the show over the five days of exhibition with the participant list increasing from 55 to 65. The new entrants include DSK-Benelli, BMW Motorrad, Indian Motorcycles for bikes and Abarth and Jeep for cars. The manufacturers that have preferred to stay away from the showcase are Harley-Davidson, Volvo, Skoda and Bajaj.
The Auto Expo hosts not only car makers but original equipment manufacturers which include tyre manufacturers, oil companies and automotive design and technology companies. The Expo will also have a pavilion for yesteryear beauties – the vintage cars and motorcycles.
