Eager to meet keep up with the competition (a.k.a the Ford Ecosport) and woo customers to the Duster, Renault India is trying all the tricks in the book. As a result the French automaker has made some minor updates to the Renault Duster RxL 110PS and the RxZ 110PS variant.
In the RxL 110, it’s the safety features that get an update, while earlier it was available with ABS+EBD it will now be equipped with driver and passenger airbags and this will cost you Rs 11.05 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The top-end variant of the diesel RxZ 110 PS which is priced at Rs 11.65 lakh comes equipped with alloy wheels, seat height adjustment and driver seat belt warning indicator. Along with this, there are some cosmetic changes as well such as new and better seat fabric and silver finishing for the wing mirrors, door handles and roof rails.
Just recently, they unveiled the Renault Duster Anniversary Edition in a striking cosmos blue colour with exchange benefits up to Rs 60,000 and before that they even made changes to the RxZ 110 PS and introduced it as the RxZ Plus with all features of the previous model but they did away with the rear air-conditioning unit in order to make more leg room.
Renault has been constantly introducing something new to do with the Duster to make sure that the public remembers the compact SUV. Ford Ecosport though immensely popular has been having problems in meeting the growing demand and as a result the waiting period has put off a lot of customers. Renault is hoping to cash in on this fact.
