It looks likes Mini’s Superleggera Vision concept could soon be reality as the British small car brand is reported to have filed for a new patent drawing at the European patent office. According to Auto Express, Mini could be close to making a production-spec version of the Superleggera Vision concept.
This new two seater roadster model is yet to be given a green light for production; however, the drawing could lead to plans for a future sporty model. The report says that Mini has denied any connection with the drawing but then, it also talks about what the production-spec model will look like, with a fabric roof, door handles and redesigned wing mirrors.
If put into production, this new roadster model will be positioned on top of the current Mini range consisting of the base hatch, the Clubman, the Countryman crossover and a few more body styles.
