Mini India brings John Cooper Works to India at the Auto Expo

The ongoing Auto Expo has played host to the debut of Mini’s performance sub-brand - John Cooper Works, in India. The company has come up with an exclusive range of John Cooper Works Accessories, which includes special exterior accents, interior features and an aerodynamic package.

Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Philipp von Sahr, President, BMW Group India said, “A MINI is always capable of more – both on the race track and on the road. Traditionally the bona fide symbol for the go-kart like experience of driving a MINI, John Cooper Works is a definitive source of top-quality products tailored precisely to the spirit of the MINI, in terms of both technology and design. With the launch of John Cooper Works Accessories in India, MINI enthusiasts can boost their car’s sporting character for a customised racing personality.”

John Cooper Works specialises in options and accessories for Mini drivetrains, suspension, aerodynamics and interiors.

At the 2014 Auto Expo, Mini India has displayed its entire range which includes the Cooper S, the Cooper Convertible and the Cooper S Countryman. The brand also displayed the Cooper D Countryman, which is locally produced at BMW’s Plant in Chennai.
