- Mini Countryman facelift will feature LED tail lights with Union Jack graphics
- The model is expected to receive matrix LED headlamps too
The facelifted Mini Countryman has been spied during a public road test. The new spy images reveal that the Mini Countryman will receive updates in the form of a new front and rear bumper, new grille, new headlamps and redesigned LED tail lights.
The spy image featuring the rear profile of the Mini Countryman facelift reveals that the model will receive redesigned LED tail lights with graphics inspired by the Union Jack. This new graphic is currently available with the facelifted Mini Cooper and the Mini Cooper Convertible, hence it was bound to be updated with the Countryman range, followed by the complete Mini line-up.
Apart from the redesigned LED tail lights, the facelifted Mini Countryman is expected to be equipped with matrix-beam LED headlamps, new range of alloy wheels and colour options. Inside, the model could receive updates in the form of a new infotainment system and new trim options.
Powertrain options on the Mini Countryman facelift will remain largely unchanged and hence continue to be offered with engines starting from a 1.5-litre, three-cylinder petrol unit to a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol motor.
