It was just last month that we discovered the facelifted Mini Cooper S testing in Germany, and this time around, we have once again caught the Cooper convertible in the same act.
Just like the hard top Mini Cooper that was spotted, the soft-top’s facelift primarily incorporates changes to the head lamps, tail lamps, and an updated cabin that will get more features. While the section around the headlamps and the nose, above the grille, have been covered up, it points to the fact that there may be subtle changes to the design. At the rear, this test mule has got camouflaged tail lamps and a bumper which indicates that some refreshed design cues have made it here too.
Sources suggest that the car maker will upgrade the Mini’s cabin to offer more features like an updated infotainment system and some more trims on the already exhaustive options list. Reports claim that the facelifted Mini will continue to be powered by the same range of engines with probably a different state of tune. The spruced-up Mini Coopers are expected to be displayed at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show before they show up in showrooms worldwide before the end of 2017. Stay glued to CarWale for more news.
