The Hyundai Grand i10 launched way back in 2013, has been a popular choice in its segment due to interesting design element and features like rear AC vents, cooled glovebox and a stereo system with 1GB of internal memory. Recently, a camouflaged version of the Grand i10 facelift has been spotted on-test, indicating its possible launch sometime soon.
As seen in images, the front and rear section of the Grand i10 facelift has been camouflaged thereby indicating that these areas will get fresh cosmetic upgrades. It is believed that changes will be restricted only to cosmetic upgrades while mechanically it will continue to be powered by existing engine options. The new model might get a slightly larger bumper design and fog lamp housing. The new model will also get a revised airdam and a tweaked hood design. As for the sides, it looks fairly the same as the current model except for new turn indicators on the fender instead of ORVM-mounted indicators and new diamond cut alloy wheel design. As for the rear, we can expect to see tweaked tail lamps and mild chrome upgrades.
Under the hood, the Hyundai Grand i10 facelift is expected to continue being powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine, while the diesel will continue to be powered by a 1.1-litre engine. Automatic transmission will be offered as optional on the petrol variant while the diesel will get the standard five-speed manual transmission. Additional details about the vehicle will be known in the coming days and it is to be seen if CNG will be offered as optional for the facelift version as well.
