JSW MG Motor India is all set to launch the Windsor EV in the country today, and ahead of its reveal, we have got our hands on the key features of the upcoming CUV. A rival to the likes of the BYD e6 facelift, now called the eMax 7, this is the first product to be introduced after MG joined hands with Indian brand JSW.
Starting off with the design, the new Windsor EV will get a split headlamp design, LED DRLs with a light bar running in between, front fender-mounted charging port, flush-fitting door handles, blacked-out B-, C-, and D-pillars, front door-mounted ORVMs, L-shaped LED taillights, and 18-inch alloy wheels. Customers will be able to choose from four exterior colours, and you can read these exclusive details on our website.
Inside, the 2024 MG Windsor EV will boast features in the form of a black theme with wooden inserts, ambient lighting, 15.6-inch freestanding touchscreen infotainment system and fully digital colour driver’s display, and a two-spoke steering wheel. A few other notable features include a floating centre console with three cupholders, wireless charger, front centre armrest, automatic climate control, 360-degree camera, blind spot monitor, TPMS, EPB with auto-hold function, all four disc brakes, ventilated front seats, panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable front seats, eight speakers and a sub-woofer, and six airbags.
Powering the Windsor EV could be 37.9kWh or 50.6kWh battery packs paired with a single electric motor with a claimed range of up to 460km on a single full charge. Details such as the dimensions, power output, and more importantly, the prices, will be out later today. Stay tuned to our website and social media channels for all the latest updates.
