MG Motor India has a glorious past associated with it and the soon to be reborn in India brand organized an exclusive MG Owners Meet & Drive as part of the recently held 21 Gun Salute Rally in Delhi. The exclusive MG Owners Meet & Drive was attended among others by MG owners who had travelled from Delhi, Chandigarh, Jaipur and other places to participate in the rally. MG cars part of the rally included roadsters and convertibles like 1935 MG P sports roader, 1946 MG TC and 1965 MG Midget among others. MG B was the most popular of the cars, with three models including the popular MG-B GT fastback.
MG has already bought a production plant at Halol, Gujarat and the company claimed that it will roll out the first India-spec MG model by 2019. The facility will have an initial capacity of producing 80,000 cars in a year.
