- New luxurious electric MPV
- Will be sold through premium outlets
JSW MG Motor India has showcased its upcoming MPV M9 (earlier called as the Mifa 9) at the ongoing Bharat Mobility Expo. It will be available at the MG Select premium outlets and be sold alongside the Cyberster electric sports car. The carmaker has started accepting pre-reservations today with bookings starting in March followed by deliveries in April this year.
MG has launched the M9 as a premium MPV, which has a boxy design but sleek LED DRLs and LED headlamps. These are positioned on the front bumper with a chrome embellishment running along its edges. It features vertical LED taillights and the USP of the MPV is that it has power rear sliding doors.
The M9's sliding rear doors open up to reclining ottoman seats that are ventilated and have a massage function. The MPV offers a three-row seating for up to seven people. It gets more comfort features including a three-zone automatic climate control, rear seat entertainment screens, and dual sunroofs, one for the front and a panoramic one for the rear passengers.
Powertrain
The MG M9 comes with a pure electric powertrain. The MPV is equipped with a 90kWh battery pack that has a claimed WLTP range of 430km.
