JSW MG Motor India has revealed the M9 electric MPV. Christened M9, it will be the brand’s second model to be retailed through ‘Select’ outlets.
In terms of design, the M9 sports a large trapezoidal front grille with vertically stacked LED headlamps, sliding rear doors, connected LED tail lamps, and chrome windowline. The M9 will be offered with a seven-seat configuration and will come loaded with features such as three-zone climate control, dual sunroofs, rear entertainment screens, and reclining ottoman seats with touchscreen controls on hand rails.
In phase one, MG will sell the M9 electric MPV in 12 cities. While the India-spec configurations are under wraps, globally, the M9 is offered with a 90kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 430km. The M9 presents itself as an electric alternative which slots between the Kia Carnival and Toyota Vellfire that are offered with diesel and petrol-hybrid alternatives, respectively.
The MG M9 will be showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo alongside Cyberster electric sports car.
