MG Hector crosses 5,000 units production milestone

MG Motor has rolled out 5,000 units of the Hector from the company’s production facility located in Halol, Gujarat. MG Motor India recently revealed that the brand had sold more than 2,000 units of the Hector in August 2019.

MG Motor has received more than 28,000 bookings for the Hector about a month after the model was launched in the market. The move forced the company to temporarily close bookings for the Hector. The brand is currently working on increasing the production for the Hector to 3,000 units a month, a move that is expected to come into effect by October 2019.

Morris Garages has also launched a reward scheme for customers who are currently awaiting deliveries of their Hector. Each customer will earn 1,000 points per week until the date when the vehicle is delivered to them. To read our review of the MG Hector, click here.
