MG Hector booking open for Rs 50,000

MG (Morris Garages) Motor India has commenced bookings for the Hector in India at a token amount of Rs 50,000. Interested customers can now book the feature-loaded SUV from across 120 centers in the country or visit mgmotor.co.in for online bookings. MG Hector is available in petrol, diesel and hybrid powertrain options. The manual petrol variant is available in Style and Super trims, while the petrol automatic is available in Smart and Sharp trims. The diesel version is available in Style, Super, Smart and Sharp variants. The hybrid version is available in Super, Smart and Sharp trims.

In terms of colour options, the Style trim is available in two colour options - aurora silver and candy white. In addition to aurora silver and candy white, the Super trim is additionally available in starry black and burgundy red colour options. Moreover, the top spec Smart and Sharp trims of the Hector can be additionally had in glaze red option.    

The powertrain options include 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol, 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol hybrid and a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine. The petrol version generates 141bhp at 5000rpm, while the diesel version produces 167bhp at 3750rpm. Six-speed manual transmission is standard, while DCT is optional only on the regular petrol variant.

The company will begin dispatches of Hector from its Halol facility across its dealer network in 50 cities.
