- Could be launched in the coming months
- Will get a revised design and new features
Even as MG sales for the Gloster SUV have slowed down in its current avatar, the company is rigorously testing the facelifted model ahead of its launch. New spy shots shared on the web give us a peek at the interior of the updated three-row SUV.
New Design
As seen in the images here, the Gloster facelift, which will be based on the Maxus D90, will get a fresh set of taillights and a tweaked exhaust setup at the rear. Notable changes on the fascia include a new grille, a revised lighting setup, and a refreshed bumper.
Interior and feature changes
Inside, there will be considerable changes to the 2025 MG Gloster. The centre console will witness an overhaul in the form of a new and larger freestanding touchscreen unit, squared AC vents, and dual wireless mobile chargers. Elsewhere, the electronic parking brake switch has been repositioned, and also present now are two rotary dials, and what seem to be three differential lock buttons. Also up for offer will be black upholstery with diamond stitching.
A few key features such as the panoramic sunroof, Level 2 ADAS suite, auto-dimming IRVM, powered tailgate, and a 360-degree camera will be carried over from the outgoing version of the Gloster. Under the hood, the 2.0-litre diesel engine in turbo and twin-turbo forms are likely to remain unchanged, as is the eight-speed automatic transmission.
It’ll be better to move this paragraph to the end of the copy as right now, it is switching from int-ext-int which confuses the reader. Also because the first para last line talks about the interior. So jumping to the exterior immediately after that disrupts the flow.
