-MG’s first EV to be offered with a BaaS program
JSW MG Motor India launched the popular Windsor EV last month at a starting ex-showroom cost of Rs. 9.99 lakh with Baas or 13.5 lakh (outright). Over 15,000 registrations were made during the first 24 hours of the booking commencement. Recently, the automaker held a mega delivery event in Bangalore, where 101 Windsor EVs were delivered to customers.
The MG Windsor EV is available in three variants, namely, Excite, Exclusive, and Essence, across four paint schemes – Clay Beige, Turquoise Green, Starburst Black, and Pearl White. Notably, the Windsor EV is the first model to be offered with BaaS (Battery as a Service), followed by the MG ZS EV and the MG Comet EV.
Powering the new Windsor EV is a 38kWh battery pack across the lineup with a claimed driving range of 331km on a single charge. The power output of the Windsor EV is specified to be 134bhp and 200Nm of torque with four drive modes and three regen levels.
