MG received a lot of attention with the Windsor EV not just for its attractive pricing but also for the Battery as a Service (Baas) program it rolled out along with the introduction of the CUV. The latter was extended to its entire product portfolio, including the ZS EV and the Comet EV.
MG has now started delivering the Windsor EV to customers across the country. The model, which is priced from Rs. 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom), comes in three variants – Excite, Exclusive, and Essence. Colour options on the model are limited to Turquoise Green, Clay Beige, Pearl White, and Starburst Black.
Powering the Windsor EV is a 38kWh battery pack paired with a single electric motor that returns a claimed range of 332km on a single full charge. The power output is rated at 134bhp and 200Nm, with four drive modes to choose from, namely Eco, Eco+, Normal, and Sport. We have driven the Windsor and our review is live on the website and YouTube channel.
