MG Motor India has been testing the Cloud EV in the country, and spy shots have surfaced on multiple occasions. Now, ahead of its launch, which is scheduled to take place in September, the company has released the first teaser of this upcoming car, dubbed as a CUV.
The MG Cloud EV, which will be the brand’s third EV in the Indian market after the ZS EV and the Comet EV, is likely to be sold with comfort as its USP. As seen in the teaser video, the model will get a set of new wheels, sleek LED DRLs, LED light bar on the fascia, and a backlit MG logo. The latter is likely to be active only when the car is on charge.
Elsewhere, the Cloud EV will come equipped with a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, electrically adjustable front seats, and a two-spoke steering wheel with integrated controls for the music system and more.
Globally, the 2024 MG Cloud EV is available with 50.6kWh and 37.9kWh battery packs paired with an electric motor that is claimed to return a range of 460km and 360km, respectively. The launch of this new model will also mark MG’s start of launching a new product in the Indian market every six months.
